hm... i don't think you'll be advocating female circumcision if you learn of the actual process. in the US, this is pretty much taboo. it's mainly in Africa and other parts of the world. a lot of girls in these countries do not want it but are forced to. in African culture, if a female is not circumsized, that means they're not clean and no male would marry this woman. it is also done so that the girls won't have sexual desires and won't have sex before marriage. guess what or who this mainly benefits? the males! you guessed right. this act is more directed by sexism. people don't force female circumcision for hygiene reasons. it's mainly to suppress the females. why should a women's vagina be mutilated to the point of no return? who forced males to get circumsized anyway? i don't think it's the females. also, a vagina does not smell the way you describe it. maybe the ones you've experienced with have a strong smell but not everybody does. i know of a guy that has a smelly salty penis. does that mean that every other guy in this world has the same problem? no! so does that mean that just because one guy has a penis smelling problem that they should all be circumcized? no also! it's a matter of choice and that choice better be solely made by the person and no one else. also, male circumcision is a bit different than female one because in fact, for a female it's more of a mutilation. why would you want to have sex with a vagina that looks like that? just research online how a circumsized vagina looks like. i don't think you would ever want to have sex ever again. there's 3 different levels so choose whichever one but still, the first level should already freak you out. also, think about this... would you want your 6 yr old daughter to be circumsized (more like mutilated)?

Womens' vagina's can smell for all different types of reasons. It could be an STD, yeast infection, bacterial infection or it could just be that she is sweaty which can cause odors too. Every woman's body is different and some just have problems with odors. There are problems to fix that though. If this question is about someone in particular, tell her to get checked out by her Dr. or try some feminine odor products.

Nope, means she made need to pay more attention to the vagina when she takes a bath. It could mean many different things. She doesn't necessarily have to take a douche -- this is only needed if a physician recommends it because too much douching can dry out the vagina. Could be a yeast infection. When women take medication, we really should flood our bodies with water -- especially if she is taking an antibotic.
Could mean she has contracted something from a nasty penis!

A strong odor can be a sign of infection, not necessarily an STD. However some woman have a strong odor naturally. If you have always had the odor I wouldn't worry, but if it's come on suddenly then you should get checked out. Make sure you are keeping yourself clean and getting annual examinations.

Not necessarily. She may just need a bath. There also may be an underlying infection...yeast, bacterial vaginosis etc but not necessarily an STD. Bottom line...if it stinks stay away from it.

More than likely it means you have a serious infection you should go have it checked out right away, because it can cause serious problems with you health in the future if you don't catch it now. You can get these type of infections from having sex with a man who is having a lot of sex with different women.

Every woman has a distinct "smell" down there. Possibly the scent doesn't appeal to your limbic system. Ohterwise she may need to bathe, is having her period, or is about to, or has some underlying infection, like vaginosis or a yeast infection.

LOL, maybe she doesn't bathe or has an infection. It doesn't necessarily mean she has stds. Either way I would steer clear of that area!

Possibly, but it could be she just needs to wash. If you are concerned, use a condom.
And, for your info--females were created to have this "scent of the sea" for a reason. It is an attraction to men, because back in Biblical times, most real men were fishermen, who were attracted to the salty seas.
Even newborn baby girls have this scent. (DON'T go a-sniffin!).
Anyway, I hope I just educated you and others like you.

No, it doesn't and it also has nothing to do with cleanliness, she may have an excess internal amount of "yeast" or a perfectly common bacteria. She can talk to her doc about it and easily get it taken care of. Oh and also excessive douching can cause exactly that.
