There were more countries than that involved but I take your point.
I wonder how many of those chanting would rush to pick up a rifle or fly a plane over enemy countries.
I'm guessing that not very many could tell you what the war was about.

Scotland, Wales and Ireland are not in the World Cup. The US should not have been - but have been eliminated already.
This leaves only England. Who else is going to chant it?

Don't you mean "There were 10 German Bombers in the air" and "Two World Wars and one World Cup, doo dah, doo dah!"
They do this because they get VERY drunk and all their sense is pissed out with the copious amount of beer they drink.
And because Scotland, Ireland and Wales don't often get through - otherwise they'd probably do it too!
And so all the other nations of the world don't chant offensive stuff....? Give me a break. ;o)

Britain certainly won the war but went into a recession paying for it that they never really recovered from till the early 80's

What kind of IQ and behaviour do you expect from people whose whole existance is to be a football fan, whose information comes from rags like "The Sun" and "The News of the World" and who don't even know what currency is used in Germany?
