They help out Tohru anytime they can. I think they're the best of best friends for anyone. They are there when you need them and they're not selfish at all. I love it when they help Tohru when those Yuki fan-club girls are picking on Tohru. Uo and Hana and very kind girls who are there for Tohru, always.

They are good friends. Hana also gives comic relief to the show. Uo is very protective of Tohru.
I've got a question, though. What does it mean when the call Uo a yankee? I know it doesn't mean someone from the northeastern USA.

I think they're very cool. They seem kinda rough when you first lay eyes on them, but when you see how much they care for Tohru (who's almost nothing like them), it gives them more depth. And I love Uo and Kyo's little spats; they're hilarious together.
EDIT: Oh, and for aya...Yankee is the name of a girl's gang, one that Uo was once a part of. They wear long skirts and dye their hair. Uo ran afoul of them somehow (this is not explained in the anime), and they beat her up. But Tohru's mother, who was once a Yankee herself, came and rescued her. Which is why she also had a good relationship with her mother.

They r the best buds ever! Uo is so tough and cool so i ⥠her! Hana is so mysterious so i ⥠her!!! I wish they were my friends....... sigh....... they really care about Tohru! â¥= like but not romantically just to be clear!

They are awsome, they always protect Tohru and hana's wave check thing tells them wut other people think. ans Uo is the bodygaurd, with a bloody lead pipe, both are needed to protect a space cadet, also kyo is needed.

I think they are pretty. LOL. Why do they always make them wear long skirts!! I mean they look much cuter in mini skirts and have you seen them in their swimsuits! LOL.
I am secretly hoping that they end up with members in the zodiac too.
