Yeah. My mom used to make us wear pigtails, and she did that thing where you pull the hair apart to tighten the tail... it would make our eyebrows arch she pulled so hard.

i know from experince the answer is yes, got my hair braided for my cousins wedding last summer my face was very tight lol

Yeah if you peg the wound up hair at the skin of your nape. Otherwise, it would be futile to attempt facelift through this means.
