According to which criteria? Maybe I would agree then.

But I think that a true problem is that there is no common agreement or good understanding what are main features and roots of fascism alike policies, how to prevent their development in democratic systems timely. What is the relation between economic-political problems or pseudoproblems and appearance of new hitlers?

Speeches of very high politicians are full of racist things and some officials do not speak too much, but their activities say about their attitudes clearly. And many of these people are tolerated or speak even from "minorities" themselves.

The comparison is rather inaccurate and unfair to President Bush.Hitler was a dictator, demagogue and a racialist responsible for genocides. George bush is a democratically elected President and a strong leader. It has become rather fashionable to attack and denigrate President Bush. This is unfortunate. His strong actions have made American life safer after 9/11.

Bush is worse than Hitler because,Hitler was able to unite his whole country behind him,Hitler did not have to worry about being reelected,Hitler did not have to submit to the UN,Hitler was slaughtering innocents George Bush is fighting murderers. These things make him worse than Hitler to the left.

I wouldn't go that far. Bush is a bad president and even sorrier human being. But Hitler was literally the anti Christ. He made no excuse for his actions. Anyone who survived the Holocaust would surely agree.

That is a very dumb remark! I can't stand G.W. Bush but to compare him to Hitler, is just wrong. Bush is not guilty of the intentional murder of over 6 Million people!

He has made many stupid mistakes but he is not Hitler!

although Bush is a terrible person with his own agenda, he is by no means worse than Hitler. Hitler was bend on world domination by means of genocide, Bush is simply a redneck with an army under his belt.

Are you kidding me? I'm wondering how you can compare someone who's a bit inept to a cruel insane man who tried to wipe out several human races.

PS - I'm a liberal and I don't think this is funny. You didn't add the fact that it was a joke until numerous people wrote in disturbed by this. Maybe now you'll realize that not all "libs" are as bad as you think.

Brush up on your history, bro. And start thinking for yourself. I know that Bush hating is the flavor of the month, but make sure you know why you hate him. Hitler tried to destroy a whole race of people.
