Wash your face with an acne wash. Then use toner or an acne cream. Be sure and moisturize because those products can dry out your skin. I only mosturize in the morning because lotions can clog pores at night.
Products to try:
Cream- Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10
Wash- Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub
Lotion- Clinque Dramatically Different Mosturizing Lotion (this is a little expensive) The brand of mosturizer isn't really important.
Coverup- I don't know if you wear make-up but there are some make-ups for skin with acne. They cover up your acne while helping treat it. I would actually suggest not wearing make-up to cover it up everyday (it clogs your pores), but I know it can be hard to have acne. Be sure and WASH THE MAKE-UP OFF if you do wear it.

If your acne is really bad you could go to a dermatoglogist.
I hope I helped you!

P.S. The store brand medications work just as good if you get the right kind. Don't trust the person who spells medicine *medichine*.

I have always preferred Noxzema. Products don't stay around for 30-40 years unless the work! Alternatively-Mary Kay Cosmetics has a great facial clenser and moisturizer that when used in combination with each other (and the noxzema if desired) it will give you a healthy face as well. The product is called Velocity and costs around $10 for a tube of the clenser and moisturizer each.

For a natural rememdy, mix egg white, honey, and a tiny amount of milk (others will tell you to combine them in different ways) and apply to face. Let it dry, and then wash off with warm water. That should not only dissolve the oil on your face but gently lift white and black heads.

Lastly, Clearsil came out with a new line of products that has twice as much of its active ingredient (Salicylic acid 2%, a proven antibacterial agent and exfoliant) called Clearsil Ultra. I tried these and they were fine for normal skin-but I still prefer Noxzema.

I have the same problem, I have acne all over my face, back, chest and legs, so what I did was I bought proactive and it worked. The acne isn't gone yet, but it works pretty well. Or you can make a dermetologist appointment.

Drink a lot of water. Also try to eliminate all of the stress you possibly can. Stress=acne. Also, in the shower...

-exfoliate
-wash your face with something light (dove soap)
-after a few minutes of the showers steam, your pores
will open, then wash your face with something
stronger (I use AnceFree and it works great)

do not use any stupid products thta are on tv. for example;PROACTIVE NO! you don't get anything from it, just more acne. I suggest you getting "zap-it acne medication Quick Stick" found in this beauty magazines! its roll on; witch ever zit you want to be gone just roll on the "Quick Stick" and it's gone in about 2-3 days.

Ok... I am having the same problem right now. I have cysts plus acne. I am so upset about it that i won't even go out of the house! I am so depressed about it! So I know how you feel!
Truly you need to go to the dr.'s! But b4 you do that do som research on the computer, look up acne, cysts if you get them, i even looked up accutane, look up what some medications, and go on the message boards where they talk about what there problem is and what the meds are doing for them... I got alot of insight from the message boards. I have been going to the derm for about 2 years and I still have this cne problem! I am trying to get abother appoint with a different dr, bec the dr that I have never said anything to me about antibotics all he gave me was clindamycin gel. and i just seen him about 3 weeks ago (my face is breaking out like crazy) and all he did was give me refills. He never even said anything about shots for my cysts or antibotics! I am getting so upset and depressed by my ance that I decided to do some research on the net which I wish i would have done sooner!!! So i am going to find a new derm dr! And i am going to ask a lot of questions! make sure you ask about side effects but make sure to research all kind of products! and bring everything that you are using on your face to the dr's. and ask the dr. what you should be using to take off makeup and so on! I want to know everything!! lol ask many many questions!!!! write them down so that you dont forget. i dont have insurance so i paid $65 for a visit that i got nothing out of and now i am going to have to pay for ANOTHER visit to a new derm dr.
And about the one nswer that you got about the clinique lotion.... be/c u have ance i am assuming that you have oily skin. The clinique lotion is for dry skin so you wouldn't want to use that. But they have a clinique gel (it is lotion but it is for oily skin). You want to get the gel! Ask for help when you go to clinique they will help you. I went to clinique about a week ago bec i will try anything right bout now, but i only got the makeup remover and the antibacteria soap bar... but i stopped using it. I want the new derm dr to tell me exactly what I should be using on my face. Message me to tell me how everything is going.

Oh and for some people proactive works, but for me it just gave me more pimples it did not work at all!!

Oh and for people with oily skin i heard that you should not go into sona's (don't know how to spell) be'c they bring out your impuritys (acne).

And that one answer is right!!!! Stress does cause alot of acne! That is alot of my problem!! I'm going to start running or something just to get some of my stress out in a good way. Make sure you wash your face after working out though.
(it doesn't have to be running, it can be whatever you like and is a way to get out some of your stress)

Oh yes and it can have something to do with your birth control (the hormones) talk to your dr. about which birth control would be the best for you to go on. I have been taking bc for years (different kinds) and then went off of them for about a year and now have just started taking a new kind of bc so i'm wondering if that has something to do with my face breaking out. So sk your derm dr which is best for YOU!
