Nicole is the lead singer and with that comes certain spoils. How she became such is beyond me. Of all the girls, she's the most visually striking. She's the most marketable one. You know the whole exotic, "what race is she" look is very in right now. :)

Three of the girls are primarily dancers. They can carry a tune, but their role is simply to dance. The other three are singers who just so happen to dance also.

Let's look at at from a visual standpoint. In a video, it's hard to focus on all six. It's easier to focus on one person.

It sure looks that way. But I don't understand that group. They seem so skanky! And they can't sing or dance, the just prance around looking slutty. Most likely, someone figured one of them had more talent and was sexier than the others and puts all the focus on her in the hopes the public won't realize what a crock this band really is. This band really insults my intelligence.

And geez, why are there so many band members? What the? It's ridiculous.

I was wondering the same thing. The rest need to be given a chance. I'm sure all of them are as equally talented, and they are as beautiful.

Ya I don't get it either. Why doesn't she just go solo, and get all the credit, instead of having to share her paycheck with 4 or 5 of her friends, who don't do anything? But that's the way Destiny's Child was too...
