From someone's profile if I click on 'Send IM', a new Instant Messenger loads and pops up separately, and the Messenger I am on closes and says you logged onto another one. Neither one brings up the IM window that I get when messaging those on my 'friends' list. This is true for my current version (7.5 with voice) and was also the case with an older version (4.8, I believe). Thanks.

Your best bet is to go to your control panel and do a full uninstall of the yahoo messenger program and reinstall it again. That should do the trick. Or you could use www.ebuddy.com instead .. it has all the messengers on it and you dont have to download anything.

i dont think there is any other way 2 do it but to add that person 2 ur friends list than delete later if u dont want them on there
