ok i did this to my friends but we droped ina 5.0
you need to change wiring harness, engine brackets, suspension, we changed his tranny, ugh lets see what else, your computer, guages, and a few other things hoped i helped

The engine compartment should hold it, but you might have to make some fender changes and front suspension because the 8 will be heavier than a 6...check with your local auto body place, they've got experience or will know someone that does...

It can be done since the Mustang GT already have a 4.6 motor in it. You'll need to change the fuel lines and fuel pump,front spring and struts,radiator,upper and lower radiator hoses, wiring harness and the ECM, stabilizer bar and sway links,A/C lines and condensor,....I think buying a GT is much cheaper and easier to do.

Gokarts got part of it right but where it really gets expensive is when you start changing the wiring and computer.You better get some profesional help
