Well I ask this b/c I'm ecuadorian and I saw the game today, and yes we lost, but we lost great and we're a humble team, the english started to burn time, Beckham saved the day for them and that was it. Now yes they won and period, no matter how, but the question is: does England game convince? is it good enough to beat either Holland or Portugal?

I agree with you Ecuador was great....yes they lost but Ecuador for only being their 2nd time in the World Cup Games they did amazing.......especially in their 2nd game...wow that was amazing.........In regards to England going any further I dont think so..........The game over all was good but England played horrible today.......they are a weak team and Portugal looks strong, plus England got harder teams against them.........Argentina, Brazil (They will win) and of course many others.....so no this it this is the end for England.......plus it was a pity goal....a goal that was expected from beckham cause that is all that he can free kick but he cant score a regular goal.........so in reality this game was a pity win for the Grand Daddy of Soccer (England)...

Possibly. Both of these teams could very much trouble England, especially with players like Ronaldo. England has a very difficult draw to face...even if they beat Portugal/Netherlands, to incredibly ambitious and strong teams, they will most likely have a visit with Brazil in the semis, which will be an upset for them. Brazil is overall the perfect team, and very few have ever beaten them, and England will probably not be the first to do this, and even if amazingly they do beat Brazil, it will be difficult for them to progress from there. Overall, I don't think England convinces; Ecuador was so close to getting that goal...it was pure luck for the English team.

Considering England won 3 Games and drew one what does that mean?...Holland would not of been a problem...and Portugal will not be either....I am worried when they play Germany in the Finals....

I Dont think so
they have got here as fluke , only thier match against paraguay was worth seeing , trinidad man hey were lucky , sweden a draw
ecuador totally had them drowned as they played well
and now england has to face germany in the quarter , man they are going to lose 3 - 1 as all english players go solo like gerrard , lampard , j Cole and germany has good teamwork as scheinder , schweinsteiger , ballack do a good job in the midfield and klose and podolski do well in the front
All Over For England , Germany goes ahead That Is What I Think.

i imagine you've too many what ifs there. If England did win and South Africa lost. What do you imagine South Africa will be putting forward? What in the experience that they could see the ball being bowled through Flintoff, then Kallis and McKenzie mightv'e nevertheless been there. i imagine in the perfect attempt England did get some success, in case you study any crew your continually going to discover that your crew would have some good and undesirable success, now and again an additional advantageous than the different. yet that's no excuse for a loss, because it really is component to cricket (that consists of the elements). I watched the perfect attempt tournament and that i thaught England regarded astonishing from what i said. They were finished of enthusiasm and they regarded extremely solid. yet they lost there way, Smith stole the win that they couldv'e had, and also you may want to't blame it on a nasty decision, because undesirable judgements ensue for all time yet England were only unfortunate that the undesirable decision become Smith. As a spectator and no fan of britain or South African cricket, i imagine they're extremely even communities. England might want to easily about smell victory in the perfect attempt, yet they couldn't carry it. the game of cricket fantastically attempt cricket can change from one minute to the subsequent. England favor to concentration on that for my section, they can't anticipate to do the confusing yards and then relax and watch the competition disintegrate, that's no longer the way it extremely works, they favor to save the rigidity on the competition in any respect cases. because for my section that's someplace that they fail. The rigidity they positioned on the competition is on and stale, which permits the competition to stumble on a way through and picture obviously. the way ahead for england cricket is asking good, i think of their dealing with a level the position they're studying from their blunders, nicely i wish they're. they're an attractive good attempt section yet they fail to save the rigidity on the competition for my section.

I am not English, but England team are good. They may beat Holland and Portugal, but not good enough to beat Brazil. Argentina's is good too. I may be totally wrong in this though.. My own country did not even qualify.

england has gotten lucky thus far. i think that they can win the next game if they actually start playing and dont rely on the luck that they've had. but if they beat either portugal or holland, i dont think they'll make it past that

Playing like this, they won't be able to beat Holland, much less Portugal. Still, they have room to improve.
Go Portugal!!!
