A common belief suggests that left-handed people are more intelligent or creative than right-handed people, and this theory is supported by some evidence. Evidence such as numerous studies that prove left-handed children learn to overcome obstacles at an earlier age, being left-handed in a primarily right-handed world.
In his book Right-Hand, Left-Hand[7], Chris McManus of University College London, argues that the proportion of left-handers is rising and left-handed people as a group have historically produced an above-average quota of high achievers. He says that left-handers' brains are structured differently in a way that widens their range of abilities, and the genes that determine left-handedness also govern development of the language centres of the brain.
In Britain, around 11% of men and women aged 15-24 are now left-handed, compared to just 3% in the 55-64 age category. [8] McManus suggests a number of factors that may be driving this increase:
* Left-handers were severely discriminated against during the 18th and 19th centuries and it was often "beaten out" of people
* In adulthood, left-handers were often shunned by society, resulting in fewer marrying and reproducing
* As discrimination was reduced in the 20th century, the number of natural left-handers who stayed left-handed increased
* The rising age of motherhood contributed as, statistically, older mothers are more likely to give birth to left-handed children
McManus says that the increase could produce a corresponding intellectual advance and a leap in the number of mathematical, sporting or artistic geniuses.
Unfortunately, they tend to be over-represented at both ends of the intellectual scale, and as well as geniuses, the group also produces a disproportionately high number of those with learning handicaps. There have been suggestions of links between left-handedness and dyslexia, stuttering, and child autism, among other disabilities.

I am ambidextrous but as I was growing up and I can tell you from experience that still today society is not comfotable with left handers because as a child I was MADE to use my right hand and as my kids came along they were TRYING to make them use their left hands and I was very much against this (no lie our public school systems actually suggested we "tie" our kids hand down I have two "lefties") anyway Ive never put alot of thought into this so called more creative but yeah I guess it is very true or at least we are more intelligent to say the least BECAUSE we have to use our brains more actually.
But then again they say Kermit the Frog is a lefty too LMAO

Your right-handedness is correlated to the left side of the brain and visa versa. So if you favor your left hand, you are more likely to accentuate the traits of the right side of the brain. This side of the brain is where artistic abilities are kept. Though it is not 100%, but people who can stimulate the right side of the brain are some of our best artists, musicians, composers etc.

Where does that put me.I am ambidextrous. In that I use both my left and right hands equally.I am also very artistic.I love to paint, draw and write poetry.I hate any kind of violence.I do not even like it if someone yells at me.Since you are a lefty do you love the arts and are you prone to violent behavior?

Yes, power to the lefties.
Actually, I'm right-handed, but decided to learn how to use my left hand after I got sick and tired of being like everyone else, seeing how 90% of the world is right-handed.

Right handed people use the left side of their brain and left handed people use the right side of their brain. So, only left handed people are in their right mind.

right hands are good on math and philosophy but it doesn't mean that left handed people can never be a philosopher or right handed cant be a good artist.and also being smart is not related to these things it is based on how much do we use our brain
