I think a person can be in love with two people at the same time. However, I think it's wrong for them to carry on two relationships simultaneously. They should choose one person, and let the other go.

Yes....you can be in love with two. The reason is that "in love" may or may not be real love. It is an emotion. He/she may also be playing around. If that is the case, then he is not in love at all. There are people that lie to have fun. They are selfish.

Assuming this is not the case, then I continue to think that you can be in some sort of romantic entanglement with more than one person. These people may meet different needs. The solution will become clear though at some point. It is impossible to maintain a real romantic love with more than one. It will lead to a decision or lack of decision at some point.

He will love one more...or he won't. If he doesn't then neither are what he really wants or needs. Sometimes anyone seems good if the right one isn't there. Maybe he isn't ready to find the right one. It is all about the dating process.

Be true to yourself if you are in this situation. If he loves you and someone else...then stay if you want...and do the same too if you want. But don't stay if you are unhappy. Sometimes it is the ultimatum that helps the man decide.

You mean 2 women. I don't know if thats possible but in Utah you can get away with being married to more than one woman and I think the man probably loves all his wives but just screwing around with 2 or more women sounds like its mostly about sex and ego of the man.

I think it is impossible to be in love w/ 2 women at once. First of all if you are "IN LOVE" than that in itself means that there is no one else. You can love others, but not be in love. The questions contradicts itself. So, what is left? The man is having his cake and eating it too. I'm sure this goes for women too.
BTW Boxing_fan_4, polygamy in any state is illegal and should not be tolerated.

a man or woman can be truly in love with two people at the same time but in our western culture that is not acceptable so unless the three individuals are on an intellectual level to accept such a relationship and be happy with polygamy then inevitably it will fall apart if there is a desire for it to become more in-depth...

This is a tricky one. Morally speaking, NO.
However you can, and we do LOVE more than one person at a time.Because every one posses different qualities and needs that make us who we are, this is why so many of us have best friends, and more than ONE friend. IN_LOVE... I am in love with my kids.. I am in love with my cat (she is a great silent comfort for me).. so, no these two are just fullfilling needs.

YES!

You can be in love with two women simultaneously for two totally separate reasons.

For those that think this is bogus.... you have limited love in your heart
