Im good mates with lots of guys and never felt THAT way about any of them. About half of my mates are guys and , sure, in the films they always get married in the end and live happily ever after. but in real life, sure it occasionally happens but yes i think it is possible.

There are in fact 2 answers to this question: on the one hand you can have a totally platonic relationship with someone for all your life and not see that individual in a romantic way, but sometimes our subconscious being can develop certain emotions into far greater feelings for that person because of attachments that are created with that person through different experiences and time. Clearly in your case, based on the fact that you have indeed asked the question, is a clear indication that you may have stronger feelings for this person that you're willing to admit to

having friends from the opposite sex dont mean all times love but some times its cool and make them like each other
that is a story of a girl she said
Why is it that society makes such a big deal of us having friends of the opposite sex.
For example, my best friend happens to be a male. My husband is quiet aware of our friendship as is his wife, but people can't keep their frigging mouth shut about it. It seems like people thing if your best friend is of the opposite sex then you must be screwing them.
I don't get along with most women because womenn are #1 vindictive as hell and they are whiners and most of the time they can't keep secrets. Women friends seem to want everything to be about them. I hate it when I'm talking to someone and I tell them something and they are like well my work is hard or something out of the subject area.
Men seem to listen to me better and men are more likely to be honest with you when you ask them questions like .... How does this look?
Or shold I get a boob job ?
It just pisses me off when I say my best friend is a man people are like uhmmm does your husband know? Well yeah if he did'nt then there might be somethign to worry about.

Of course it possible. I have a best friend who is a male, and we've been best friend for a very long time. And I haven't fallen in love with him.

I have never believed in friendship between boy and girl. You know, they are opposite sex and opposites attract.Even when you don't want to admit there is some kind of chemistry between you two. That is why you hang out together. That is my opinion.
