Is there any truth to the saying, "Sweat is the cologne of accomplishment?"?

This phrase is meant to motivate you to work hard to achieve your goals.

It will be literally true in the case of athletes.

But sweat can also mean hard work of any kind.

I hadn't heard that phrase before, but I think I'll add it to my cycling journal.

I would have to believe that there is a form of truth in the saying. However, I would also say that it is a matter of what is being accomplished. If your goal is to push a car from one side of town to another then I suppose the saying would fit nicely. However, if your goal is to type out your essay for school without rushing it, taking your time and doing it right, then perhaps not.

i havent bathed in four days or so and its hotter than hell outside so i sweat like a pig and i am gagged by my own sweaty stench, so to answer your question , i'd say nope not much truth to it. Unless you consider alienating your friends and saving a few bucks on hygeine an accomplishment

Well, if that is true i really must have accomplished a lot today.....but i'm not sure i'd ever want to bottle the smell i'm smelling right now.

Ofcourse.......it's through accomplishments that one finds a sense of worth...if that is not sweat and rewarding, i don't know what is....

well i quess it is true, the more u work the more you sweat, and although your probably going to stink, you've would've accomplished something

Yes I think so. I have a "thing" for peoples natural scent anyways. I am weird maybe. LOL
