I may have been given freely a few things in life that some others may have to work for... but i see things differently than other people do.. I have been labeled as spoil a few times and people keep on saying that i need to get into the real world. I do not fully understand where they are coming from. What exactly are they trying to say?

I was guilty of spoiling my kids when they were young and growing up. I think it is normal and that is what parents do because they love their children so much. They bow down to them and most of the time we give them what they want. There were times where we would have to punish the kids for messing up but they would deserve it, as you probably are aware of that now.

Anyway, to get to the point: When folks say get in the real world they are trying to tell you to grow up and look at things in a more mature way. I believe it is difficult to tell a kid something like that because they don't quite understand the real world yet and the meaning seems to get lost to them. This is just my opinion and you can take it or leave it. I do not know how old you are which, to me that could make a difference in whether you understand the meaning of "get into the real world" If you are in your teenage years you should have grasped the meaning by now. But, if you are younger than say 14 years old, I can figure it would be diffiucult for you to understand. Well, anyway, I hope I have answered your question and stay cool this summer, be safe, and don't get too spoiled. OK?

.You were obviously born with a silver spoon in your mouth. Do you know what that means? It means you were brought up with money. Your the type of person that dosn't have to work for a living. How nice for you. But unfortunately, most of us do have to work for what we want. And we don't always get what we want, because we can't afford it. When someone tells you to "Get into the real world", it means try earning something on your own. Get a job, Get a life. These people are not saying it to hurt you, they properly wish they were in your situation. So don't I. But either way, maybe if you showed them a little respect for what they do, they will stop labeling you as spoiled. Lighten up. Good Luck.

When you pay all your own bills, buy your own food, cook it as well, buy your own gasoline, clothes and entertainment and you work 40+ hours a week, then you are in the real world. If any of the above is not true, then you are having your hand held.
