One to let my kids know how much I love them and I wish I could be there to watch they and their kids grow, and that if possibleI will be watching over them, and a more fun upbeat one( to laugh through tears I guess). I have favorite songs but could use some ideas. Nothing crude please.

Should we be worried about you doing something to yourself, or do you have a health condition that might cause your death?

If you're considering suicide, PLEASE speak to someone.

Firstly, I'm sorry that you have to make a choice like this. My condolences to you and your family.

I am a singer, and a big fan of (don't laugh) Cyndi Lauper. She did a little 2-minute song called "Kindred Spirit" that I sang acapella at a funeral once. The lyrics are:

If you think you're hearing something
And you can't think what it is
If you feel a quiet longing
Lift your heart into the wind

There you'll find my kindred spirit
There you'll meet me as a friend
It is just a kindred feeling
And a song to let you in

... I'm sure you can download this song from any number of places. It was off her album "A Night To Remember."

Another song that I had heard at a funeral (for a woman in a situation similar to your own) that was so beautiful was "Songbird" by Fleetwood Mac...

For you, there'll be no more crying,
For you, the sun will be shining,
And I feel that when I'm with you,
It's alright, I know it's right

To you, I'll give the world
to you, I'll never be cold
'Cause I feel that when I'm with you,
It's alright, I know it's right.

And the songbirds are singing,
Like they know the score,
And I love you, I love you, I love you,
Like never before.

And I wish you all the love in the world,
But most of all, I wish it from myself.

And the songbirds keep singing,
Like they know the score,
And I love you, I love you, I love you,
Like never before, like never before.

... this song still brings tears to my eyes.

I hope this helps!

Not sure if you can use a poem but I found this one last night and it made me think of a dear friend that I just lost, it goes like this: As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to
ever let you down probably will.

You will have your heart broken probably
more than once and it's harder every time.

You'll break hearts too, so
remember how it felt when yours was broken.

You'll fight with your best
friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.

You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you
love.

So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've
never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute
of happiness you'll never get back.

Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.

Remember,..It's better to burn out,..than to fade away,...
