It might be able to work if you both had enough money to make sure you were able to travel and see each other frequently. I have heard that Tim McGraw and his wife, Faith Hill often have to be apart because of their busy schedules but have made a pact that no matter what they they are doing and no matter where they are they will fly to meet each other every three days. So like I said if you can afford to see each other then I think it can work out fine. If you can't then I think why torture yourselves if you can't ever be together? Good luck and I hope the best for you.

Sure there nothing wrong. It just that you may not be able to actually be with each other very often, but, in time one may move to be with the other. There could be problems with Trust, depends on the relationship and understanding both people have on this.

No, long distance relationships are too hard to maintain. I would however date some from another country.

Yes, I live in the U.S. and my boyfriend lives in Mexico. If it wasn't a relationship that meant a lot to me and was more just for fun, I wouldn't do it. But when you meet someone amazing, you can get through the obstacles.

Duh, I married someone out of my own country (Thai). Ended up divorcing her, but now have a girlfriend from Dominican Republic and my last one was from Colombia. MUCH better in almost EVERY way than superficial, nothing-special Americans and Germans. Russians are also HOT and nice, the non-materialistic ones!

As long as I had a good time and could communicate--sure. Fun, friendship, and/or love is the same all over the world.
