PLEASE PLEASE educate yourself and google firststrike and Humane society of the united states. They have statistics and facts on why you should be VERY VERY concerned if you see a person abusing or torturing animals. People who do that are more likely to abuse family members and their is a statistically significant coorelation between animal torture and serial killers.

I think animal abuse is SO wrong. the penalties should be way harder than they already are I mean people are animals too and when we get abused the person gets a harher penaltie than the person who has abused a pet. The penalties should be the sam for both sides because animals are living, breathing, creatures, they have thoughts and feelings just like you or I would and I think that it is very wrong to treat animals like they are garbage. Animals are getting killed and abused everyday and a most people don't care. well I do care and I beleive that animal abuse is WRONG!

I think that animal abuse is wrong. However, there is a difference between animal rights and animal welfare. I think what you are talking about is animal welfare. Most people that produce animals (farmers, ranchers, and breeders) are in favor of good animal welfare. This means the animal are not abused and are given normal care to keep them healthy. Animal rights is the idea that animals should be equal to humans in every way. This means you could marry a horse, but not have any kind of pet. Extremest groups like PETA are all for animal rights and complete animal liberation. So if you are against animal abuse like I suspect please don't join a group like this!

What about the animals that you kill every day that you step on & run over in your cars? What about all the animals that died so that you could have an home or an apartment? Oh yes I guess you forgot about all the little kids that are abused & raped every year!

I think animal abuse is totally wrong. I mean, killing animals? Animals have feeling like us. Even though we don`t understand them, they have a life too! Like, when you are alone and bored, a pet is what makes you happy!
