i have windows xp media center edition 2005 is that good for home entertaiment, gaming and also multi tasking?

Windows XP Media Center 2005 for now

and the soon to be Windows VIsta by 2007

for what youre asking, you need a good processor (pentium extreme edition) with damn good graphics card/ video card and sound card.
And MORE RAM
windows xp os is fine.

Just use it (XP). Vista Still have alot of bugs in it.
