Wow, what a brilliant deduction. Maybe that's why homeland security is recording all this.

If you are talking about serious questions I would agree that they tell you something about a person. However, some people just like to be silly sometimes and might put out a silly question, just for the fun of it. I doubt whether that will allow for much insight into the person, though.
So personally, if I wonder about someone on yahoo answers, I tend to check their past questions. If they are all silly or offensive or plain stupid, well, I judge that person as not worth my time. If they are mixed, I will go for the interesting questions. I do believe that someone who comes up with interesting questions has an interesting mind.

Not necessarily. Depends on whether the person is answering/asking seriously. A lot of times people do this for fun. (myself as an example) My questions or answers really don't give any true insight about me as a person.

Most definitely!!!! It gives you the path their thought pattern takes. I love watching people to see how they attempt to manipulate things to their own ends. It is utterly fascinating!
Yes, the questions, and how they are asked definitely give you an insight into the person.

A little bit, but I think it's the way they answer that'll give you a better insight.

To paraphrase Einstein: The more you know, the more you find out what you don't know.
You never learn by talking, only by listening.
