I was wondering because you can't put a jillion songs on a CD-R.

You can put mp3's on a dvd yes and if your players supports dvd's and mp3's then it will work.

I reccommend that you use verbatim DVD's for any burning of data(like the mp3's) or DVD-video.

yes, it will also play in a car mp3 player. Trial and error will tell you what type. All models of players are different, thats why there are different cds and dvds. Borrow from friends and see which one you need.

have u tried putting the dvd into the laptop and starting up itunes? if this doesnt artwork idk in case you could burn it for your ipod because maximum dvds have particular protections on them so u cant replica them and promote them.... per chance in case you refer to someone who knows the thanks to attempt this you'll get it onto your ipod.
