What's your opinion about Angelina Jolie's work as a goodwill ambassador?

I think she's great, it's a way of giving back, I just saw the Anderson Cooper interview, and found it really inspiring, so, what do you think about her?

She is in a position to use her celebrity to bring attention to parts of the world that are falling into ruin, where women are raped and tortured daily, where children are dying and being sold into slavery. We can insult her beauty or lack thereof, but we are paying attention to what she is trying to do. She admits she is paid too much money for her job and she gives freely 1/3 of her "ridiculous" salary to charity. She is very informed and very polite to the cultures she encounters, and you can see her smile is real when the children surround her. If you hate her for this, ask yourself what YOU are doing to help those people, or even the homeless children living in your town?

I honestly think she has a mental problem. Look at her past. She is not totally normal as far as her behavior. I think all this crap as goodwill etc. etc. etc. is a ploy for attention. I don't think she is a good actress.There is a larger problem there and some day it might come out.

She is out for the attention and that is it... When her relationship with the blood drinker ended she had to do something else. So she breaks up, what everyone thought, was the perfect marriage.
She adopts children of different backgrounds to get attention.
Let's see what she comes up with next. I can see her admitting she is gay and taking her Asian girlfriend back. That will keep her
in the limelight a bit longer.

I think her work with the UN has changed her life. She used to be so wild and bizzare. Now she is still a little strange, but I think her work with the UN has made her a better person. I hope she is as good of a mother, as she is portraying herself. Although I dont agree with what her and Brad did, I hope they stay together now, and raise these kids to have a beautiful life. Id like to see her adopt a child with some disabilities or a child that suffers from some disease. Those children need homes too.

I can't stand her. I want her ugly face off the all the tabloids, I am sick of looking at her, and I couldn't care less about her personal life.

The ONLY thing I like about her is her humanitarian work, I do admire her for that. Although when she is so famous, I question her motives. I think she is mainly doing it to better her own reputation and career. I guess that doesn't matter, I mean, the people still get helped, but it just irks me

I agree that she does a lot of great work, but she is almost getting a bit too self-righteous, much like Oprah.

No one asked her to do it. Why doesn't she visit Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan or China? Oh, these aren't safe places are they ? I'm sick of Hollywood thinking they can do good. Maybe so, but they are ACTORS. That's all.
