Yes but as long as you are not having to pay for it then I woudn't worry about it.

Going to court hiring an attorney, paying for the paperwork will all be on you because you are the one that wants it changed Not them.

I think you could go to the place that keeps the birth records and ask them to change the childs last name cause people are always doing that when they want to adopt a child. This is if you are not going to continue being in the childs life.

A woman can name her baby anything she wants. She could name her baby George Walker Bush and he wouldn't be able to stop her. As far as I know, there is absolutely nothing you can do.

But who cares anyway? She can't make you pay child support just because she named the baby after you. You should take it as a compliment, have a beer and get on with life.

don't be an a**hole. its not the baby's fault. let them be. when the child gets older im sure it wont want your last name anyways.
