I got ride of the infection but every time I pull up the internet it says get spyware my computer is in danger. Is this true? If it is, is there a web site I can download it for free? Or do I have to buy it?

I think you are still infected, that's why it popup everytime. Do not click on that link to download their anti-spyware, it is actually a spyware of itself.

Try McAfee Spyware or Notron AntiVirus (buildin Spyware protection), they are the best I have tried so far.

That's a spy-ware that is running on your computer every time you access that Internet. Install Microsoft Windows Defender from www.microsoft.com and run that application to remove any spy-ware lurking on your computer. You might want to make sure also you have the latest Virus Definitions to keep up to date as well. If u don't have any anti virus software you can go to www.trendmicro.com or www.symantec.com which they offer free On-line virus scan to your computer.

download spybot search and destroy and adaware by lavasoft. if they do not remove it try a program called rougescanfix. all are free downloads. Once you get the system clean, download, install and update regularly spyware blaster.

Considering you have IE 6.0,

Go to

Tools ---> Internet Options ---> Privacy

If there is a pop up blocker option below, check the box...

Do you have google toolbar or some other kind of popup blocker?

Have you tried Spyware S&D?

Get yahoo anti spy toolbar maybe it gets rid of them, if not buy Norton antispy it deletes them all.
