People say "fire at Will", what has Will ever done?

He never goes to the shop for everyone else... Only himself... Never makes a cuppa for everyone else...
He is selfish, no wonder he always gets shot... But have you noticed that he is INDESTRUCTABLE!?!?!? That is why he is everywhere... ;)

the funniest time i have heard this line was in star trek generations a klingon just about to fire on the enterprise says fire at will camera then changes to will ryker who is in command of the ship looking very worried

Well, it stems from the days of Frobisher-Denby-farquarson, when the gentry used to get one of their butlers (always called Will) to stand on the lawn near to a target and then they fired at him, they started off with guns loaded with tomatoes, then with peas until finally they used very small ballbearings.
