me and my wife went out to eat and her parents were there and her dad is a real funny man well her farted and then challenged me to a farting contest well i didnt wanna do it but he kept agging me on so i did but hen he got mad when i went to go to the bathroom and i farted in his face he got mad i didnt wanna do the contest so i figured this would get him to stop my wife isnt speaking to me help me

What kind of drugs was the dad person in this story taking or was he drunk? I think if I was with two men who even proposed a farting contest in a restaurant, I would get up and leave! I am really more upset with her dad for being so crude as to encourage such a thing, what the hell, was he raised in a barn somewhere?
This may piss her off even more, but I would say if her low rent Dad had not insisted that you would not have done it (and you shouldn't have done any farting at the dinner table if you can avoid it, some people cannot hold it until they are in private)...but a farting contest in public, is just plain BAD MANNERS! How old are you, and her Dad? Does he have Alzheimers or something and what is wrong with YOU?! I think YOU should know better than to act that way even if her father is a stupid crude jerk!
You got some major fanny to kiss, and you better hope that she does not need to fart while you are kissing her butt! This one is probably going to cost you a very expensive piece of jewelry, and a sappy card where you write something about how precious she is to you! And you can only hope that will buy you some time to show her that you CAN BE and ARE a gentleman!
Really now, I am almost certain you knew that this was a bad idea, but you did it anyway! Why do men insist on screwing up their own lives?
Good luck, and don't think your major apologies are going to lead to the bedroom right away, she is probably VERY turned off sexually right now, so if you are smart, you won't even think about it for a few days. If there is a dog house on the property offer to go sleep in that, this may pass (bad pun) but I hope you have learned your lesson! NEVER an excuse to have a farting conntest in a restaurant or anywhere in the vacinity of a woman.
The only farting I ever thought was funny was the bean scene from the movie Blazing Saddles. That was pretty good, but there were not any women sitting there with them when they had their contest. If there were, I don't remember them.
You made a bad decision, now it's time to convince her that you are sorry, and that you won't ever do something like that again! (Well at least when you are out as a couple)! If her father is mental or even just crude, I am so sure she does not want anyone to help him ruin a nice dinner with his stupidity. Good luck, you are probably going to need it!
Women fart too, but they are usually sneakier about it.

I don't understand why you didn't just politely refuse, look embarrassed, and try not to fart again? As for your wife, is she not speaking to you because of making her dad mad or for farting in his face? I can see why she may have been a little embarrassed by this situation.
