I have the proper cord but am missing software I think I need to do it. Is there a free download of this software somewhere or is there another way to do it? Thanks

If you have cingular....
Go into where the pics are, go to "send in message". Under the recepient, type in your email address like you would for a phone number. Hit send.
If you don't have any sort of text/pic package on your account, they'll ding you a couple cents for it (10 for text, 25 for pic mail, I think).
The email will arrive with your pic from your phone attached. I do this all the time (my girlfriend sends me pictures...that...I....well, DON'T want to lose :) ).

You would need the Motorola Mobile Phone Tools software...
Is it available for use a freeware download, I don't think so.
Through www.motorola.com they run right around $35.00 to $40.00.

Is your laptop bluetooth? If so, bluetooth the pics over to your laptop. If not, follow the instructions that everyone else answered...

www.motorola.com and get the cable and soft ware for it cheaper in the long run and better
