Depends on how you pronounce it. Sadly...kids are mean. So if there are any other names that sound like this one and are mean names, skip it. No need to give kids a reason to pick on her. Wanting to pick a name that is unique or has meaning is understandable...but please make sure the child won't hate you for it later. Good luck!

no. think about this kid having to go to school. nobody will know how to spell it and kids picking on her cause of it. what about Bela, that means beautiful, too and it's a lot prettier and will be easier for her growing up.
