I agree - they can be annoying when all you are seeking is a sensible answer and they just throw quotes from the bible , they hide behind it like its a shield or something and never come up with their own thoughts. Religion should be banned on here and in general I think, it would save a lot of fighting/wars.

Yes, I would agree, yet these same people may have a strong belief, but very little understanding of their own belief system and how it came about! I would definitely say they do not understand Universal Law which every human uses on this planet, yet they activate it through their thought, words and actions. It is the doer part of Divinity. Many of these same individuals do not take responsibility for their own choices but blame it on everybody else, including the "DEVIL"! Well, now they need to realise that they are their own DEVIL creating bad experiences in their life through wrong speaking, wrong thinking and wrong doing

i think human is nothing more than an organic robot with high complexity so we are totally not responsible for any event in our own lives,we are just creatures with limited minds who does what it has to do according to circumstances and we will always perceive like we are giving decisions but actually we are just obeying the rules without realising.the idea of a god creating all the rules(this is the idea what most of the religions are based on) but somehow still giving you free will is just stupid.so i can say i agree with you but we have different reasons.

How is your argument in keeping with examine first of all? beforehand you bounce in this, i don't have faith the international is going to end in 2012. yet i'm curious, purely what sort of examine did you do to be sure that a destiny adventure would or would possibly no longer ensue????? medical information isn't even right here yet. Predictions alongside with those are the two believed or no longer, there is not any thank you to instruct or disprove till the date comes upon us. it rather is in keeping with a Mayan calendar, which used planet alignment, sunrises and sunsets, finished moons.... all of that would nicely be shown scientifically as much as a component. The Mayan calendar leads to our 365 days 2012.... no longer something with regards to the mayan calendar states that the international is going to end. So the Mayan element isn't what Christians at present say this is. Christianity, for the main section, has constantly used different cultures prophecies, predictions, writings to assist their ideals. Now in case you mentioned, the assumption the christians have with regards to the mayan calendar is idiocy, i'd agree.... even though it sort of feels to me you're taking their suggestions and asserting that it is the truthfully "prophecy"/prediction, whilst it rather is not.

I deffinatly agree. I answer all these questions, and someone who says "God Will's it" is always getting the points.

The real point is: There is no God, or Gods. We are all human, and if something (i.e. religion) is telling me that I'm better than other people because I do God's will, I think that's all bulshit.

Then I waste my good answers on ignorant people, and expect them to be fair on the situation. If someone is asking if there is a God, and everyone is telling them yes, are they really questioning it if they agree?

Maybe it's the catagories you're posting/reading? I spend most of my time in Books & Authors, Vegetarian, and Mythology and I see a pretty even mix of folks.

Yip, I agree wholeheartedly - but there are religious nuts everywhere, so the proportion is probably accurate for Answers. Just think if there were no religious nuts we might just eliminate the need for war...

we are responsible for the way we react to everything that happens to us in our lives as we interact with each other. like it or not.

if god wanted to intervene ..he would, but he doesnt because it is up to us to make the world a better place, we can't use god as the fall guy when things go wrong, and praise him when things go right..

the buck stops here, with each of us. that does'nt mean we have to tolerate those who muck us about, letting them see the errors of their ways with compassion is preferable.

I agree.
But with freedom of speech and all that - what can you do about it. Just leave them to their own devices and ignore their comments.
As for us being responsible for events in our own life, sometimes we are by the course of actions we take or do, sometimes were not.
