Is it normal to have pubic hair and underarm hair for at least 2 or 3 years and still no period,she is twelve years old.

This happens to many children. My child had hair everywhere she was in elementary then when she got into middle school she got her period.. I do not think that you should worry... Everyones hormones do not go at the same pace and it is all about puberty... but if you are still worried take her to the dr. for your own tranquility

some girls take a while. I was in the same boat about not knowing mom's history on period because of adoption. It will come when her body is ready. Some are fast and some are slow

It certainly suggests she is going through puberty, maybe ask your GP when you are next in or talk to the school nurse within school, she will be well aware of that age group and it is free confidential advice.

some girls do not get periods until the r 14 or 15. So it is okay.

yes that is normal but if she doesnt get it by the time she is about 16 then she needs to go to the obgyn so the doctor can figure out what is wrong

very normal i got hair like 2 years before my period even started, its ok you will get it soon i got it when i was 14

some girls get there first period at almost sixteen so its ok for now but after 16 there is something wrong

Yes, if she doesn't have her period by the time she's fifteen or sixteen then there is a problem.
