what's your opinion on emo?

i mean..a lot of ppl say that emo is gay and stuff coz guys kiss other guys (ewww) but that's not what emo is! these ppl should appreciate the music and not what some randomly stupid guys do!..what do u all think?

Some emo is good. Not when the singers are ultra whiney (Dashboard Confessional). Most of it stinks though. Especially now with all the copycat bands.

Personally I think emo is a genre of music that is softer than rock, but relatively the same thing. I am totaly agianst lables, but I do like the music a lot. A lot of people drag music into lables, and its really a shame because its wrecking the music. I mean, sure emo music is somewhat whiney, and I'll admit to that, but I think emo should be music, not guys with long black hair in their faces.

i dont personaly mind the whole emo thing. But i dont think you can label one type of music emotional when all music is emotional. The fact that they were skinny jeans is up to them especially the guys. I think that some of them take it a little bit over bored but thats with all sorts of groups. In the end its up to them and if they want to be like that then so be it

I don't understand why guys wear girls pants. Guys shouldn't kiss other guys without being labeled gay. DOn't understand the whole concept of wanting to die and cutting yourself. So my opinion is I think it's stupid.
