I am troubleshooting a no start condition. Pass key circuit giving me the problem . I think it's the theft deterrrent relay as I've had problems with that circuit.

OK IF THE SECURITY LIGHT IS FLASHING MORE THAN
LIKLY IT IS PASSKEY 3 PROBLEM/. TAKE A METER MEASURE ACROSS THE KEY THIS WILL BE THE VALUE OF THE RESISTOR. UNDER THE BASE OF TEH COLUMN THEE WILL BE ORANGE CONNECTOR INSTALL YOUR METER TO THIS CONNECTOR , INSTALL THE KEY , YOU SHOULD SEE THE SAME RESISTANCE AT THE BASE OF THE CONNECTOR . IF NOT REPLACE THE LOCK CYLINDER . WHEN YOU TAKE THE OLD CYLINDER YOU WILL SEE THE WIRE BREAK DUE TO THE ON/OFF OF THE CYLINDER ACTION . VERY COMMON PROBLEM .

Go to your local auto store(Aoutzone, Advance Auto) and check the back section of the Chiltons manual. Some stores already have an open copy on the shelf.
