Well for one she has won an Oscar. Secondly, her filmography shows she has made movies in almost every single year since she started in 1983 and in most csaes many movies per year.

Finally, she has always looked the same so I'm not sure where the plastic surgery reference is coming from. Lemme guess: a Tomkat fan?

It's a simple matter of QUALITY over quantity.

She's selective when it comes to movie roles. Lately, she's branched out and took some risks (Bewitched, The Stepford Wives). Those were bombs, but for the most part she's made good choices. Have you seen "The Hours?" Amazing film. Even though "Cold Mountain" bored me to tears, she was enjoyable. Nicole makes good films.

I believe people like her because she's likable.

Look at how she handled the divorce from Tom. She didn't bash him or reinforce the fact the world knows he's an idiot! She's very classy and very refined and elegant. She handles herself with grace. She's very reminiscent of Film Noir stars from the 30's and 40's. She's very Lauren Becall.

Human Stain (in my opinion) was a pretty decent movie. I actually like Nicole Kidman because she maintains her composure, especially after being dumped by that train wreck Tom Cruise. This may sound crazy, but I really do hope that her marriage to Keith Urban works out. Nicole seems like a decent person and I think she deserves happiness.

I think she came into fame when she married Tom Cruise, who was hugely popular before he turned into such a wanker recently! But everyone loved Tom & Nicole together and quite a bit of her fame came from that union. Plus, she is the picture of grace and class. The way she came through her divorce without bad mouthing Tom, I thought proved her a class act. I don't mind her fame nearly as much as I do Paris Hilton, who truly has done nothing to earn hers!

What makes her such a wonderful actress is her ability to portray a wide range of different characters in films and stage, from playing the doomed courtesan in "Moulin Rouge" to her Academy Award-winning role as Virginia Woolf in "The Hours". Of course, my favorite is her psycho-ambitious TV weather girl in the black comedy, "To Die For"!

One of the first movies I actually remember her being in was Days of Thunder with Tom Cruise. I think their relationship after that movie, with him, what make her become so popular.

She was married to Tom, the Scientology nut case. That's enough for any tabloid.
