Why or why not?

Always the same or do you like to buy new ones?

Are they expensive and beautiful or just the basic type?

Did this habit change over the years?

I don't use watches,ever.Just don't like them.Rarelly used them,when I was younger,and always took them off as soon as I didn't need them anymore.

Thank you for sharing a bit of you with me!:)

Happy Sunday!:)

I only really wear a watch when I'm going out, and even then not always. I obviously don't need to be wearing a watch when I'm at home as there are plenty of clocks around me. I also dislike wearing jewelry and other accessories and avoid it if possible.

I don't have a large disposable income so I hardly feel the need to keep buying new watches when the one I have works just fine and dandy. The watch I've now had for a decade or so is very definitely a basic type, nothing fancy. It's a Swiss watch (Tissot), though its predecessor was Japanese (Seiko), and it was decidedly not expensive. It's metal, not gold, and has no jewels or anything ostentatious. It has a leather band, which I actually had to replace whilst living in Japan, as I have skin allergies to several metals and otherwise dislike metal bands.

Nice question, Moon. I think it's safe to say that's the most thought I've given to my watch in my entire life. Cheers! ;-)

I usually only wear a watch (on my left wrist), when I work, Moon. I am a nurse, so have to have a watch while working. Very rarely do I wear a watch any other time. I wear a pretty gold and silver, but very inexpensive watch, and no, I do not feel the need to buy new ones often...only when my current watch is no longer working. I think that I used to wear watches more than I do now, not really sure why though. For the most part, there is no need for me to wear a watch that often now, and I just prefer not having one on.

Oh wait...I almost forgot, I do wear a watch when I am working out, so that I can time the seconds between sets of lifiting weights. :)

Do you wear a watch?
Why or why not? sometimes when I'm going somewhere public & really have to keep up with the time & know a clock won't be there.

Always the same or do you like to buy new ones? pretty much the same....my little keychain watch from Avon

Are they expensive and beautiful or just the basic type? very basic, but a cute little heart locket type

Did this habit change over the years? yeah...used to wear an attractive wristwatch all the time, but it became a nuisance.

Very, very seldom.

I'm retired, so I don't need to know the time as often as I use to.

I use to like to buy new ones.

Nothing expensive. Maybe something different looking though.

Oh yes, the habit DID change from an every day habit, to almost never.

I wil say though, I carry a cell phone, and it DOES have the time on it.

Yes, I wear a watch on my left wrist cause I'm a righty. It's the norm for rightys to wear watches on the left wrist and lefties to wear them on the right. I don't know who made this a rule but that's what people do. I wear it mainly to tell time. Also, it's a fashion accessory. It's all about the bling.

No, I don't wear a watch and never have.

I think you'll see fewer people wearing watches as mobile devices become more popular. Some people will continue to wear a watch for fashion, but as for the purpose of telling time, the watch is on its way out.

well, i own one but i tend to forget that i do. I don't think that its expensive. no more than $50. when i do wear a watch its with an outfit that it will look good with or if i know there's not going to be any clocks around. i wear it on my left wrist because I'm left handed.

I have one watch that I wear all of the time. It is a metal Mickey Mouse watch that a friend bought for me several years ago. I wear it on my right hand I even have a tan line from it. :)

No, I don't wear a watch or manage a calendar. Time is relative and I try to live in the present.
