err.. wrong.

for a start if you want to look good, eat right. Poor diet will lead to crap results. Yes crunches do a hell of alot of work on your abs, but so do candle stands.

as for your arms a mixture of bench work is the most ideal however if you dont have access to a bench purchase your self some dumbells and put a weight on there where you can go an exercise for 6 repetitions (6 times) for 3 sets. Fly's and Curls will do alot for your Biceps.

Dont expect results over night, it takes 3 weeks approx to make and difference at all, just be consistant. Try exercise every 2nd day, this gives your muscles time to rest, the first time you start exercising or lifting will be quite hard, just make sure you rest well, and get back into it. If it starts to huts like pain then stop, there is a big difference between worn out muscle pain, and joint pain, and difference again between joint pain and muscle tears.

Be careful, dont go too hard, eat right.

if you currently have low bodyfat, excellent. If not bulk up a little and then at some stage cut. This means eat right and do alot of cardio (running etc, something that keeps your heart rate right up there). You cant Bulk & Cut at the same time.

Check the links below, they did wonders for me.

Nice muscles aren't something that magically appear, you have to work for them. Exercising using both weight lifting and cardio training will work very well. Tell your brother to do crunches, v-snaps, push-ups and lift lots of weights! But don't do too much at once or you might pull something.
