I live in VA and most of my family is in AL....I visit as much as I can, but I seem to always be the one going down there. My mom, sister and grandmother all make excuses whenever I ask them to visit and tell me that I "should just come home". I have a beautiful home with a big yard in a great community here. How do I make them see that THIS is my home now and that I shouldn't have to make the trip to see them everytime they want to see me?
(And it's not an issue of money...I always offer to buy the plane tickets!)

Just don't go. Tell them when is best to come visit and remind them about the tickets offer.
