DEFINITELY B. Wallace! He's so amazingly tough, and has been a key factor in Detroit getting to the playoffs. But it's not even his defense-his offense is superb, and as a person, I think most people would choose B. over R. anyways. yes, the fighting incident killed Artest's reputation, but even having that one incident compared to the zero that Wallace has had gives Ben an edge. So yeah B. Wallace!

Ben wallace is quick and strong enough to guard positions 1 through 5.
Any chance Artest could defend both Lebron and Illguskas or D. Wade and Shaq?

DEPENDS!!.. Ben Wallace can defend great in the paint but tends to get beat outside the paint by a quicker opponent like a smaller guard or forward, whereas Ron can move his feet quicker and stay between his man and the hoop. Ben can guard the paint and just his presence can change a shot or make someone think twice about going up and having it swatted!

There is no real answer here, because both of these guys are top-notch defenders at their positions. But, you did however leave out the 2nd best defender in the NBA this year...Bruce Bowen who is just a step above Ron Artest. Just stating facts here no argument necessary.

I hate Artest. But I hate the Pistons. So I'm going with neither.

easily ron artest. he can guard virtually any possition, plays great help defence, rebounds and more importantly leads the defence, which ben does not do. ben is good but ron is better.
and overall ron is a better player because of his pollished offence.
