Haha....first of all...i have armpit hair....but i dont know how i should keep it. I mean, some of my friends shave it...but it think thats a bit harsh for me...the skin will itch if i do that.....i trim it with scissors...but its so hard to do it under your arm....
more so, what is the appeal of it to women? do they like it clean or a hairy armpit is alright?
Are there any other options of what i can do?

get your self an electric shaver (for your face, saves times in the morning) but make sure it has teh sideburn trimmers on it, shave under your arms with that.
not all the way, but trim it down so you dont look like a wookie. Do that and deoderants will work a hell of alot better, there are also heaps of 'personal groomer' type things on the market that will help you accomplish this.
you could also do it with a razor as well, just shave repeadily but softly over the thick hair and it will reduce the thickness although may be a little patchy.

Frankly I think it's a little weird for men to shave or trim their armpit hair but maybe that's just me. The most important thing about an armpit is that it doesn't smell bad, so keep it CLEAN and smell-free. Don't go overboard on the manly-man-GOD-I-smell-good stuff, it's really... kinda gross.
Leave your armpit hair alone. Only world class swimmers guys need to shave their armpits, and even then it's strange.

You can trim it up a little, but being a woman, I don't care what a man's armpit hair looks like. That's not important to me, and whoever it is important to is shallow.

Guys armpit hair doesn't matter much. I am sure if it was beastlike it would be nice to trim, but girls don't really care about that sort of thing. Not the way guys care about girls underarm hair, I'll tell you that. =P

Not to wild and bushy. Keep it low, not higher than an inch. Thick wild long dirty armpit hair is disgusting. Hope this helps.

I'm a girl and I don't care about it being shaven or trimmed.
Full hair is just something that I've come to expect.
