We are looking to buy a luxury car like a BMW, Audi, Lexus or Volvo. However, we're unsure if they are worth the additional costs. Is it worth it to buy a luxury car or should we just spend less money on a Toyota Camry?

You must define in your mind what luxury means to you. First of all keep in mind, that a car is after all a tool. A way of going from a point to another faster. Luxury, for me, you should be able to enjoy it every time you want. You cannot enjoy real luxury by going one point to the other. Can u imagine enjoying your "money" just by taking the road where anything can happen just because you want to feel confortable and enjoying your luxury car. For me it just don't make sense. My point of view.

luxury cars are status symbols in my opinion I would buy a car that was fun to drive and had the best saftey features I could afford, some things I would look for AWD, traction contorl, abs, side air bag curtains.

the value of any vehicle drops by 1/2 as soon as you drive it off the lot....go with the toyota...just as reliable, and tho is depreciates by 1/2, 10g is alot less than 25g.

I have always this though: "You pay for what you get"

It all depends on your needs.. The reason something has more value over another thing is because it has extra things...

The questoin would be, how much are you willling to pay?

You normally get lux cars when you get old and retired, If you are young and will one day have a family, I would think that you would go with economy.

Good Luck
