Well JJ, I'm going to guess that you are a guy because women usually already know the answer to this one. I would say "Yes" it counts. Even though it isn't sex it is definitely not going to win you brownie points. Look at it this way...would you want your girlfriend giving another guy a lap dance? I use that example instead of a guy giving one to the girlfriend because it is hard to visualize the male lap dance. And it's pretty much the same thing anyway. After all, if there is really no harm done when a girl gives you a lap dance then why not let your girlfriend give someone else a lap dance? She doesn't have feelings for him. He isn't thinking he can get with her or anything. Yeah right! I hope you see my point. A lap dance is not allowed in a healthy and stable relationship.

Any form of sexual or emotional exchanges from someone other than your partner is cheating. If it takes away from or stresses your relationship...it's cheating. The sad part is you're only cheating yourself! Would you want your woman giving a lap dance to another man? Why?

When a man and woman are married they become one. One in mind, body and soul. The two become one. If anyone breaches that oneness it is considered cheating. i.e. lap dances, pornography, day dreaming about other men/women in sexual relations. In other words anything that draws your attention away from what should be your spouses exclusive privileges and territory could be considered cheating. Touching, fantasizing, verbiage, gestures, etc. These all belong to your spouse and no one else. Just as your spouses wants, needs and desires belong to you and no one else.

Depends on the male or female perspective. As a male I would say no. Men and women look at sex differently. Women view sex as an intimate thing, with men it is something that we are driven to do. Men disassociate sex with love. In general we have no feelings of affection or love for the lap dancer. It's not a threat.

I always told my husband its ok to go to those type of bars...

I don't consider it cheating because I know he will come home to me and lap dances is a part of the act that is in those bars...

No big deal...
