which superhero out of superman, spiderman, batman, and the hulk, in your opinion, is the best?

I think that Spiderman is the best becuase he's just like one of us...dealing with just trying to get by, living in the day-to-day world all while coming to grips with his new-found powers.
I think that Batman is not because, even though he is a complex character, tormented by the demons of his past, he's got no superpowers and got everything he needs because of his family fortune.
I think that Superman is not becuase, well, he's too perfect. What can this guy NOT do? He's got super speed, hearing vision...he can fly, he's strong as hell and he he's impervious to pain...the only thing that can harm him is Kryptonite...other than that, he's pretty god-like so it's almost a cop-out because you know he's always gonna come out on top.
The hulk is not becuase he's just a big, dumb, wrecking machine!

I think it depends on who you like best.

Each superhero is representing different aspects of real human nature.

Supes is the strong, compassionate, nice guy. He came to Earth with powers like a god, but he grew up with parents who were really down-to-earth, humble, good people. This makes Supes humble and down-to-earth even though he can bench press a battleship, and fly into outer space. Yet, he has no desires to conquer or dominate.

Batman is a normal man who has trained himself to the level of peak Olympic perfection, and dedicates himself to studying criminals to avenge the deaths of his parents and make the world a better place.

Spider-Man is the every Nerd who just can't seem to do anything right. He doesn't fit in, he's really, really clumsy. But he gets these amazing powers that make him super strong and agile. Like Supes, he also balances his powers with responsibility.

The Hulk is just an emotional being. Rage being the thing that fuels his power. The angrier he gets, the stronger he becomes. I've never really liked this Hulk much. Probably because he seemed to me to be Supes without a brain.

My personal faves have always been the characters with the better writers (either comic-wise or animation).

Batman the animated series had GOOD writers (the show won a couple of awards), so I prefer the cartoon, NOT the stupid movie versions (especially Tim "I have never read a comic" so I don't know what the f**k I'm doing Burton's version). The last Batman movie with Christian Bale was a step in the right direction. Kudos.

Batman Beyond, which is a futuristic version of Batman, also had some of the same writers from Batman the animated series and it was EXCELLENT! Unfortunately it got cancelled (which sucks), but Terry McGinnis did get to appear in Justice League Unlimited (Rock On!).

Justice League Unlimited I didn't think I was gonna like, but it too had some really good writers. The Question, The Huntress, Black Canary, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash and Doctor Fate have had some great episodes, and stand out performances.

I'm a diehard X-Men fan. I used to read the comics since I was very young, so I loved Chris Claremont's run. Which is why I was horrified by the movie versions. I DO NOT consider the movie versions "The X-Men". The movie version is a bastard creation that sorta resembles my favorite band of mutants, but cuts out SO MUCH of their character, their heart, and basically everything that made the X-Men really great characters to read about.

Daredevil, when Frank (Sin City) Miller used to write him, was AWESOME! A guy who was blinded as a young man, but gains incredibly enhanced super senses that gives him his own radar. Don't watch the movie version. It sucked eggs. Come to think of it... it smelled like one, too.

V for Vendetta was good, even with all it's flaws. V is a normal person who has trained himself to be kinda like Batman, but he goes after mostly the corrupt gov. officials of his world.

There are other really good characters out there, but then this would become a novel to read, so... I hope this helps.

Hulk has the most unbelievable freakesh strength, he beat The Thing & he's probably stronger than Superman!

Batman is a superb fighter, with unbelievable samuri-ninjitzu skills. He's unbelievably strong (for a human) & he has the best gadgets money can buy.

Superman is just that; SUPER. We all know the things he can do. He can do the impossible. He also has exceptional character.

But, without ALL of these things SPIDERMAN concours much more difficult foes. . . .Venom, Dr Doom, The Insidious 6, etc. Using a combination of wit, instinct, smarts (he is the smartest of all those listed), improvisation, adaptation, & his powers (which infact kinda awesome by the way) he always manages to save the day. . . .

All that & he has bad credit, relationship problems, school, etc. to deal with & not to mention hiding his identity. Imagine having all the problems that you(a normal person) have, & also having to deal with the s*** that Spidey deals with. Think about it.

Hulk is best he has unlimited strength gets stronger when he gets angrier and a healing factor that makes him virtually impossible to kill while hulking out

I just hate superman really whats even the point of the books the villians cant do anything and he dosnt even use his powers well instead of useing his super speed to run up and punch the basterd robbing the bank he rather get knocked around a bit if you have superspeed you should never get hit and you should be able to land 1000 super punches before they do anything why the **** is flash in JLA anyway........also he has 1 weakness WTF

its not like he dosnt kill them with certain gadgets just bring a pistol with a silencer and you can take them out from the shadows instead of jumping out and trying to punch them it works but really it shouldnt if I had a pistol I am positive I could take batman if he rushed me he would stand no chance against an actual superhuman

Batman is not cus...He is just a man in suit who thinks he's bad...come on if any villain really killed hard enough they could kill with a bullet.

Spider-man is not cus...he deals with to many problems ..if he was areal person he would be in therapy for years and years and would have been committed to a hospital

Hulk is not cus well.. he just goes on rampages if they would have kept it SO he had smart and strength..then he would be the coolest ..but he has none soo superman is the best here

I think Superman is the best just because he has God-like powers and special abilites, but has only one weakness

Hulk is not the best because he is just a big and dumb (not smart) monster looking freak who runs around destroying things

Spiderman is not the best because, even though his powers are unique and somehow almost always finds a way to overcome the odds, he's just not that complex

Batman is not the best because, practically, he's just a guy running around wearing a bat suit and a cape (he has no "special" kinds of features), even though the gadgets he uses are still pretty convenient

Personally, my favorite hero is SUPERMAN. Why Sup? Well, he has the ability to fly without any gadgets, and his x-ray vision, oh, how I would love to have that. Could you imagine having an appointment in another state or country and all you would have to do is change in to your Super-suit and take flight? No cost for planes or hotels. I could fly to Paris and enjoy the sights and fly home anytime.

SPIDERMAN is not my favorite, although, his suit is bangin’, because I don’t care much for spiders. And does his web work well in wet weather (rain, snow, etc)?

BATMAN is not my favorite because again, I don’t care for bats and he counts on too many gadgets that can fail when needed. Although, I do like his bat mobile.

The HULK is not my favorite for the obvious, he’s green. And I don’t like the fact that he has to get angry in order to get his extra power. I foresee many migraines, or stroke, or the possibility of a heart attack in his near future from all that anger. ;-)

I think superman is the best because his only weakness is kryptonite and he can fly. He's strong and only wears light armor.

batman is not the best because he has to use a bunch of gadgets to defeat enemies.
