It really depends on who you are trying to control and why. You can really only control your self, be responsible for yourself, and your needs, your real needs are fulfilled by self..inside of you...not outside. If you believe in a higher power you and that higher power may work together to fulfill your needs. When one tries to control others it is often because one does not feel in control of self...feel good about yourself/satisfy self and that will radiate outward...instead of wanting to control others...you may want to help others grow, then they may feel better about them selves, and the waves of self-esteem move outward and OMG soon everyone is doing their very best because they WANT to , because it helps them FEEL GOOD about themselves and every ones needs are met ....

I know, sounds impossible, huh? Just take it a step at a time. Determine what your needs really are...is it that you really want "that" whatever at work? or do you want more attention/time with/from your loved one at home? Do you boss around that person at work because you get bossed around at home? Dig deep, find out why you find the need to be in such control. What part of your life do you feel you have no control over? You know the answer to your question better than anyone ;-)

runniing the whole show how? what is it that you are doing specifically? I also like to be in control in most situations and it isnt the healthiest choice. If you are in a relationship it really should be divided among you. I don't know specifically which area of life you are talking about, but if you elaborate I may be able to help a little better
