It's ok for plastic trim but do not put it on leather. Try a leather polish/protector. Also, don't put armor all to heavy in the top of the dashboard. It not only will cause sun glare on the windshield but it will cause the plastic and foam to dry out and crack.

Put it on very lightly. The new Armor All wipes are great because it leaves just enough polish as you wipe it. It's also roughly the same price as the spray and you don't have to ruin a towel!

Treat your leather with mink oil at least four times a year. It's actually silicone and will help keep the leather from drying out and cracking. It's okay to use Armor All on the vinyl but I would be sure to treat my leather differently. I use the mink oil on my leather coats and they last for decades.

I saw a set of tires dry cracked from Armor All. I didn't believe the guy telling me this until he showed me inside of the tires by looking under the car and they looked new there. I don't use the stuff any more. I use Turtle Wax F21 Super Protectant. I have never had anything crack or peal or dry out.

This product is safe for tinted windows, removes tough road grime, leaves a streak free shine on auto window surfaces. This product works easily and quickly, and is ammonia-free.

The best protection comes from using a protectant every time you wash your car. Armor All® Protectant helps guard against the harmful effects of ozone by protecting against cracking of your tires and protects against damaging UV rays by preventing fading of your dash.

To avoid over-spray of Armor All® Protectant onto your glass, spray the protectant directly onto a cloth (cotton & terry cloth work best) and wipe. Both Armor All® Protectant Wipes and Protectant Gel offer greater control to evenly treat surfaces.

Armor All® Leather Protectant products are perfect for use on your treated leather home furnishings. Our specially formulated leather products condition your leather, whether in your car or house, helping to keep your leather looking like new. These products, however, are not designed for use on suede, buckskin or fabric. They are also not designed for use on bench or cycle seats due to slipperiness. If you have any doubts about a specific surface, it's always wise to test an inconspicuous area first.

Armor All® Protectant is not designed for use on paint. Although the product will not harm your car's paint finish, it may leave a dull or streaky appearance. For best results on paint, try using Armor All® Car Wash Concentrate, Armor All® PowerWash Gel, or Armor All® Wax-It-Dry® Gel.

Armor All® Protectant products are safe to use on your car's dashboard, and will not cause cracking. In fact, Armor All® Protectant products are specially formulated to guard against UV damage (like cracking and discoloration). Whether you prefer sprays, wipes or gel, our Protectants can help keep your dashboard looking like new.

according to a interior specialist that re-does interiors he said it's the worst stuff you can use and recommends a product called 303 and said he has seen too many interiors ruined by armourall and vynal roofs too.

Also something to keep in mind is Armor All will keep anything from sticking to the treated area. You may buy, for example a stick on cell phone holder that won't stick.

I've heard it dries out the interior as well. And frankly, i think that shiny look it gives (with the exception of on tires) looks kinda stupid anyway.
