when i burn copys of my movies they skip.i make sure no programs are running .what could be the problem?

two possible reasons

1) you are burng too fast

2) the CPU isnt fast enough.

make sure u burn no faster than the empty disk say

for DVDs its like 4x, 8x,16x

for cds, 52x,, 48x, blah blah

if not ur burner is messed up get a new 1

or the the original cd or the empty cd has scratches
