I just answered a question about a problem from someone using Beta 8. I wouldn't recommend it.
Beta is test software, not the final product. Lots of bugs to be worked out.

download the beta 8 i used it i was confused first time i used it because i didn't used to use it but after that i loved it i cant live without beta 8

I like the local version of Yahoo messenger. Try the version made for your country specifically. It has better Audibles. They are really awesome.

Not true. For mr 7.5 and 8.0 always gave me errors and closed.
go to http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=yahoo
and download Yahoo Messenger 7.5.0.647 (7.7 MB)
thats the best messinger right now - most people have it

7.5 only lets u call pc to pc for free
but 8 lets u even call pc to phone not for free
+ 8 has bugs cuz its still a beta vertion still testing

I have upgraded since my 7.5 was not that stable. 8.0 seems to be OK - there is no significant difference as we have seen between 6.0 and 7.5. I would recommend upgrading.
