Hi there, what does a airline ramp agent do? what kind of different airline jobs are there?

I used to work in HR for an airline. Our ramp agents loaded and unloaded cargo and baggage into the airplane, directed airplanes in the ramp area including pushing them out with tugs, and emptied the airplane lavatories.

Other jobs that are hired in volume include provisioning agent, operations agent, customer service agent, reservations agent and flight attendant. There is also Pilot which requires a lot of expensive and time consuming training.
