Just to clarify, I have not problem with them, really. I love her for who she is more than anything. She is just very consious about them. I know she'd feel better about our trips to the beach if she could get rid of them or at least tone them down. I know she doesn't want to go as far as surgery. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

stretch mark creams are sold at drug stores. stretch marks are scars, and scars never go away, but the creams do tone them down. and by the way, i am impressed at the way you express your love for her no matter what.

Mederma Ointment is very ggod for stretch marks I found this for you also I hope it helps.

The method: Mederma ointment

What it's good for: Smaller scars and new stretch marks

How it works: Mederma uses an ingredient derived from onion skins to help treat scar height and discoloration. Its manufacturer claims it will soften hardened scar tissue, too. Mederma comes in a gel formula, so you can apply during the day and no one has to know. Visible results, however, can take awhile to show up.

The method: Microdermabrasion

What it's good for: Raised and slightly pitted scars

How it works: Microdermabrasion uses tiny crystals to aggressively slough off the top layers of skin. By sloughing off enough skin, microdermabrasion can help even out differences in tissue, thereby smoothing out a raised scar or making a pitted scar less deep. If you have very sensitive skin, however, microdermabrasion may not be for you. The process naturally irritates the skin, which can cause further discoloration if you're particularly sensitive.

To get rid of the stretch marks try this method. Use 1/2 teaspoon of aloes, 1/2 tps papaya pulp.1- tsp rose water, 1 -tsp of sandalwood paste, 10 drops almond oil and two drops of lavender oil. add 2-tsp milk cream to these and make a smooth paste, apply over the effected skin and massage gently before a bath. Do, this atleast thrice a week.Coz it really worked for one of my colleague

The stretch marks are usually farmed when the skin is stretched over a long period of time, these are nothing but strains of elastic fibre in deep layers of the skin. when one looses or gains weight rapidly then there skin will loose the elasticity resulting in these marks. they will normally fade by themselves, after some time. if you want to fade them quickly tan that particular area so that those light scars may mix with the normal skin.

Prevention is the best way to avoid problems when you think your skin is loosing elasticity apply oils or moisturizer to those areas so that it remains supple. And dint take rapid weight loosing programmes they not only create problems like stretchmarks but also skin sagging, and then wrinkles . So ask her to adopt a right way or loosing weight slowly. All the best

There is no way to remove stretch marks unless you get a tummy tuck. They are there for life they can be lightend but that is it. Believe me i have three kids and only a tummy tuck will do the trick.

i'm sure i've seen some cream for that, they obviously can't b got rid of completely and if she goes to surgery then she'd hav scars instead, but stretch mark cream should help to make them less noticeable and sometimes stretch mark can just reduce by themselves.

There is this cream called Mederma or something similar. You can get it at the local drug store, Wal-Mart, or the like. It is supposed to reduce the appearance of scars. I used it for the big scar on my knee and ankle when I broke them and it really works. Tell her to give it a shot.

tell her to be proud of her marks. she loves the kids, right? they are a reminder about the process of pregnancy and the bringing of life into the world. in my opinion its like a tattoo that explains a part of your past.
