but its been a month that he hasnt stayed home on sundays. He is a contractor so if a job comes along he'll take it. Anyways this sunday he's home but he wants to do some work around the house. Than go to a friends house (which I can tag along too) to look at his new bike. I know it's not going to just take half an hour. He's going to be stuck there for at least the rest of the day. How can I make him understand that after a month of not being home I need him to myself today?

He may be having financle problems, but you could always just ask him this same question and see what he says. Only he can give you the true reason and telling him that you want to be with him will only work if you tell him.

Girl, just tell him. The truth always works. You might want to tell him something along the lines of..."Honey, I know you've been very busy lately with work and all, which I think you're great at. But could it be possible for us to stay in at least one of these Sundays? I've been needing you so much lately and I really want us to hang out."
Hopefully, when you pour out your heart like this, he'll understand he needs to make time for you too. Maybe you've been way too understanding with his job and friends and that's probably why he's not really making time for you. Go get your man back, girl, at least for a day or two...and good luck!! :)

after a month of not being home he SHOULD want to spend time with you. but that's in a perfect world. since he hasn't had much time he wants to use his free day to do things he's been wanting to do. the things around the house going to go see his friend and being with you. don't be selfish and don't hold him back from doing what he wants to do. either tag along or tell him to go to his friends house then make plans with him later on. like maybe a dinner plan where he wouldn't be able to spend the rest of the night at his friends.

mmmm help him around the house at first so you can spend a little time together...and then suggest to watch a movie or something after both of you go look at the bike so theres a time limit...tell him that you have really missed him and just want to relax somewhere after not spending time together FOR A MONTH!!!

Let him have his space,absence makes the heart grow fonder.My man is rarely at home,I miss him like crazy.But we are cemented together.We have an easy going attitude,and I know we will have a lifetime together.It makes time together more precious.

Regardless of how much a man wants...and loves...to be with his love, life happens. When work calls most responsible men will answer. It is a fact of life and you need to understand that.

well, leave him a suggestive note of what you'll do for him, wear something sexy, and perhaps he'll think of something much better to do than looking at a buddies bike. it always works for me.
