You get a pump with a filter included. They come in all sizes for all ponds depending on water volume. The pump and filter sit at the bottom. Electric supply starts the pump which will filter water and pump out fresh from a pipe. You can fix that to a fountain or a boy peeing or something.

its on the pump put it on the intake side of the pump.
