for me it's gotta be "The Babe",....not only was he the dominant hitter of his time, he was also a pretty good pitcher, who still has pitching record's on the books. what makes him even better, in my eyes, is he did it without the use of steroids or HGH. he did however use BHD,(Beer and Hot Dogs) in his training regiment.

When I visualize looking up "baseball player" in the dictionary, somehow I always come up with The Babe. But, I'm still giving the edge to Mickey Mantle.

Hank Aaron, I love a long ball hitter and he never juiced up and had the most class out of any player.
